Welcome, Visiting Brethren
Aberystwyth Lodge 1072 warmly welcomes all visiting Masons. Our doors are open to Brethren from every Lodge and jurisdiction who wish to share in our fraternal work.
A Tradition of Fraternal Welcome
Freemasonry has always been enriched by the tradition of visiting — the practice of brethren travelling to share in the work of other Lodges, to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, and to experience the universal language of our Craft. At Aberystwyth Lodge 1072, we hold this tradition in the highest regard.
Whether you are a local brother, visiting from another Province, or travelling from overseas, you will find a warm and genuine welcome at our Lodge. We take great pride in the quality of our ceremonial work and in the fellowship that follows, and we are always delighted to welcome brethren who share our passion for the Craft.
Visiting is one of the great privileges of Freemasonry — it allows us to learn from one another, to forge lasting friendships across Lodge boundaries, and to be reminded that wherever we travel, we are never far from a brother. We look forward to receiving you.
Brother Visitors
All Craft Masons in good standing are welcome to attend our meetings as visitors. If your not visiting as a guest of a member of the Lodge we ask that you bring your Grand Lodge certificate or other proof of membership, as our Tyler will need to satisfy himself of your qualifications before the Lodge is opened.
If you are visiting from a Lodge outside the Province of West Wales, please contact us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure you receive the warmest possible welcome. We are always happy to hear from brethren who wish to visit.
Festive Board follows our regular meetings, and visiting brethren are warmly encouraged to join us for the meal and toasts. Please let us know in advance if you plan to attend the Festive Board so that we can reserve a place for you.
Address
Our Lodge meets at Aberystwyth Masonic Hall, which is centrally located in the town of Aberystwyth, Ceredigion.

Contact Us Before Your Visit
